Scarred Tabs

looking from the outside,
at something I didnt even see,
you never became something
I could ever want you to be,
you mean nothing,
and now that I realize how little you mean to me,
I walk away , the sun has set,
and I take another step away, from you,
but now I feel so alone,
like no one is waiting for me,
taking a step back to see what I have,
but I open my hands and see them bleeding
from the tears I wipe from my face,
youve taken it all and destroyed my thoughts of you,
you have burdened my soul standing strong,
I feel myself, I will never open my heart again,
my thoughts of you perished when I went to sleep
and let night take care of me as I watch your pain........
